P900 touchscreen display non functional - GSM-Forum

Hello all,

Display of my P900 doesnt' reply on stylus pen, any touch on display - no response, all other is OK!! I can do everything with phone except of using a pen. What could happened? (No water, no wet, no drop, no accident)

Well I have problems with toutch screen in rigth side on screen, everything is beside the marked place on screen, I have flashed new files, still the same, tryed to master reset, but don´t know the code, usely 1234 but not on SonyEricsson P900
The phone works but sreeen don´t respond correctly where You toutch, What can I do to solve this problem.
I can´t calibrite display, when it does like this..??

If you can get hold of a unit with a broken screen unsolder and remove the top membrane and swap them over!, you will then be able to calibrate.

this problem can be solved in two ways
1. change the display touch screen plzte
2. check filter and components in the connector path of display touch screen
generally this can be solved by replacing the touch screen part onlynot the display.

hello bro,
i had come across the same prob after changing the display.
the touch screen connection in the back of display got problem.v had jumbered same & perfectly worked.
