PIC 16F876 in terminator dongle - GSM-Forum

Hi all;

My friend and I would like make a DIV terminator dongle( I know I can buy it form the internet).

After check the terminator dongle scheme, we found there is a IC chip PIC 16F876. My question is do I have to burn in the sofware into this IC chip?
or just use it without any software put into the IC chip?

Hi!
You need to program the IC!
For that you could use ICProg and any programmer wich supports ICSP.
The hex file is freely available. Just search for it...
