T28 RF problem after recovering from death - GSM-Forum

hi mates.

Had a dead T28. The cause was RF. I changed the Pa and it powered up ok. Now however when a call is made it starts to connect and then it drops the call after a 'click' is heard.

anyone can help pls?

which is it pls? part number... i only changed the PA for now at the top (black one)

is it BGA or SMD?

when i changed the PA it pwoered up ok... now it jsut drops conenction with a "click" sound when tryign to connect.

maybe pa and maybe rf, just test with any radiation light, if it's working but only blinking, then the pa work good, if not, then rechange pa

if you have always 100% network signal after 10-15 tries to call, but calls dropped then check PA and it's soldering. if after tries to call phone loose network for 2-3 sec and then again full network bar check rf. it help in most cases.
