t616 handsfree

Hello,

I just got my 616... second hand and all.. whatever looked good and it was free. Problem is im trying to use my t310 portable handsfree... the guy who sold it to me says it works (compatible)... but when i plugged it into my 616 the ringing originates from the phone and the call can only be herd on the internal speakers and not on my handsfree.

Yes ive added the portable handsfree to my profile. The settings are manual handsfree and normal answering.

Any ideas how to fix and such? thanks!

Felix

I guess your headset did work properly on your other phone, so there seems to be no damage to the headset itself.

Usually the phone changes automaticaly the profile when attaching a headseat or car kit and displays a short notice about the profile change. In your case theres some kind of connection problem between phone and headset, could be a dirty or maybe even broken phone connector. Try to clean up the connector first an check if all pins from your headset are ok. You can also check the phone by connecting pin 4 & 5 in the picture, the phone should change to the "port h-free" profile.
