motoro a835 no unlock

Your problem is caused by ignorance. You have to understand how Motorola phone comunicate with PC via USB bus.

As you may already know, unlock procedure for A Series phone s is diferent than for V or C series.

There are two steps, each of them need separate drivers to be installed.

1. Download unimoto 2.18
2. Power on the phone in normal mode, and wait till windows install "Motorola USB modem"
3. Run unimoto 2.18 and click "install drivers" button, wait till windows install all 5 new devices under motorola part in device manager.
4. Check in device manager if all is ok - if yes, you can start with unlocking.
5. Put phone in bootloader mode (for A920 change to BP bus) and click "unlock"
6. Software will ask you to power on the phone (for A920 it will restart phone automaticaly)
7. You'll see "waiting" then, after windows initialize drivers "witing 4 seconds" then, "connected to phone please wait". If you have all drivers PREINSTALLED corectly, you'll have "unlocked ok" in few seconds.

- Possible problems:
1. You need to use SAME USB port each time for motorola phones. Otherwise, you'll have "motorola USB modem #X " where "X" is number of "modems " installed each time you change USB port. In this case, open Control Panel, Modems, with phone connected, and delete all motorola USB modems from it, in order to install it corectlly.
2. Battery has to be FULLY charged,
3. Brain should be working, at least in "safe mode" -)))))))

I hope this will clear the situation. Do not ask me these questions i have answered here via mail, icq or sonork, i am sorry, but i have no time to teach all customers how to use windows and install drivers.

Batery don't have to be full, it's just a suggestion!
Just reinstall the drivers and all will be fine!
I also recomend WinXp O.P .I personaly unlocked at least 10 pieces!

1. must use winxp
2. put phone on cable (powered on ) and wait until windows ask you for drivers .....find drivers in unimoto directory (p2k) . and wait to install all drivers ( it takes 2-3 min ) ....when windows say yours hardware is ready to use go to next step.
3. put phone to flash mode ..... put to cable, and wait to instal motorola flash device ( 10-20 sec)

4.and after this steps just push unlock button on online client
after power up phone and in 10 seconds phone will be unlocked

next time not need to install all drivers again . just put usb cable in same usb port like 1. time and skip firs 3 steps

i unlock more than 50 pcs till now, and newer had any problems !!!

althought i am trying my problem is modem and pc dont attached toghether one for each

although i do what you say exactly
and pc after 30 seconds hangup

I am sorry my friend, but we are not responcible for your PC, or windows instalation. That's your own problem.

From our side, all is perfect, you just need to use client soft properly.

i have same problem.
My sw works perfectly ,drivers ok , but i have 4/5 pz of a835 that first part of unlocking works , after disconnect, power on , reconnect....

...connected to the phone wait.....

sometime during this phase windows show this message :
device not recognized...

Software works perfectly with all other phone ,also A835.

same problem....in the second phase it is not succeeded to connect.


when they are working i will try with versions 2.18/2.20
