Member: 425797 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | avoid to MEM MAP Blank i damage 2 sets v3i and v3r which recover after flash proccess. and i note my mistake that in first step where smart moto says remove battery and insert again and power on. at this step i also remove my data cable. Next when smart moto says disconnect cable and battery remove insert phone should be in black screen mode at this stage i got MEM MAP error when i insert battery phone always in boot mode. Please correct me if some thing wrong and if this is cause of this error please verify it. this will help many members. Thanks to all and smart clip team. BR |

At the stage 11, handset screen might display a "Critical error" message. Please, don’t be worried and strictly follow the instructions of SmartMoto. |

Member: 229997 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 636 | @ minhluon, original firmware version was R479 or R47a? Try to make Repair PDS for v3i (R47a) and after that flash the handset with v3i_r47a_g_08.d8.a1r_lp0021_full_flash.mfw Best Regards Smart-clip team www.smart-clip.com www.GsmServer.com www.boot-loader.com www.smart-unlocker.com |

Member: 373231 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | Hi all... Let me help everyone here I have had this problem about 20 times now... So far I know how to repair phone without needing to flash and I have one or two simple steps for everyone to follow when preparing - this may help your future MEM MAP problems. Basically: When unlocking phone, do as told exactly, when it says "Remove and Insert Battery and power on Phone" then do so... then in the final stage - when it says, remove USB cable, remove battery, reinsert battery blah blah - well do this: Unplug USB cable, Remove Battery, wait 10 secs, insert battery, wait 2secs, then insert USB cable - then press power button for 1 sec. I always do this and not had one MEM MAP blank error since. - I noticed the cable can cause the fault due to the 5v+ going down USB. Now you know how to just about avoid this problem. Now to fix a dead phone with MEM MAP BLANK. Simple: When in final stage of preparing - if phone says "MEM MAP BLANK" then remove USB Cable, remove battery, wait for dialogue box to open asking to remove cable, battery blah blah, then get the phone board and put it in testpoint mode (short testpoint and attach battery) then hit ok in smart moto - should find phone and restore the patch that gets erased - then phone is working and unlocked. br, Danny. |
