Dear users,

We are pleased to announce the launch of totally renewed portal www.boot-loader.com. The portal has been moved to another platform in order to improve the service and taking into consideration helpful suggestions submitted by Smart-Clip users. New platform development was based on improvement of the following site features:

Security
Stability
Site performance speed
User friendliness
Fast support and customer feedback

We hope that our efforts will substantially contribute to effectiveness of our service and quality of support provided to Smart-Clip users.

From now on SMARTMOTO section is accessible for free during one year after the first update of your Smart-Clip at www.smart-clip.com. When one year period has expired, Smart-Clip users can purchase another year of access to SMARTMOTO section. Price plans and their detailed descriptions are located at COMMERCIAL section of www.boot-loader.com.

Note:
After the first Smart-Clip update and account registration at www.boot-loader.com a new user activates the service within standard price plan. Access is provided within one year period since the first Smart-Clip update (date of the first update + 1 year). In case if Smart-Clip has not been updated before logging to www.Boot-Loader.com, the access will not be valid and user will be asked to perform an update procedure.

New *smf flash files were added to the database of www.boot-loader.com. Please check out a NEWS section for detailed info.

Please remember.
Changes to the order of work with SMARTMOTO section are not affecting Smart-Clip hardware warranty issues. Period of Smart-Clip hardware warranty is 180 days. Expired Smart-Clip warranty does not limit the access to SMARTMOTO section of www.boot-loader.com

Also
Released a new version of Smart-Clip firmware V2.25 and SmartMoto v1.20.
This update adds the following models V235 & L2 to the list of supported. They can be unlocked using Unlock via Testpoint option of SmartMoto.

Perform V235 testpoint procedure/L2 testpoint procedure
Use "Unlock via Testpoint" function of SmartMoto from "Unlock" tab

SmartMoto V1.20 has the following features added:

Manual selection of LPT port (select a manual mode in Smart-Clip section and enter port number);
Allowed flashing with backups from other handsets for the following models: C975, C980, V975, V980, E1000;
Detect of firmware version for model C975 to avoid downgrade or unlock of unsupported version. Program will alert user for possible phone malfunction
(last option requires to be tested).

Please remember:
During testpoint unlocking procedure phone's LCD must be disconnected.
Do not use hot air fan to remove a metal shield on PCB. This can seriously damage the handset.
Use any other alternative tool to cut or drill it. Please make sure you do not damage the board.

Oh, yes, is realy great, a limited one year support,

once again you changed the rules without users agree,
you not getting enought money from box sales?
[*]you locking smartclip to one pc with that stupid and useless licence [*]licences number limited to 5, after that need to be purchased [*]now support is limited to 1 year, forcing us to purchase support because readed flashes are locked to clip serial

If you wanna sell flashing support because of server hosting and all that stuff make smartmoto to read unescrambled files, in this way we are free to purchase or not support

what is next?, perhaps you will charge us each time we press unlock button?

I am very very disapointed with the support being given in last times

Please made the unlock function in smart-moto programm, it will be very nice to unlock phone from button in the programm, not from box(because in last models boxes very poor quality, in earlier models red button was very good).

Yes, Me Too !!! First My 1 x Smart-Clip Box Error, i send to reseller for repair......but i wait 4 month still can't get back the box.... How 1 year limted ????

Accessing SmartMoto section on boot-loader.com

Open boot-loader.com using Internet Explorer
Create user account using Register option
Login using entered credentials
Open clip login page
Connect your clip to PC using LPT cable. Power the clip on
Press "Login" button in ActiveX control loaded on clip login page

Free access to the file system on www.boot-loader.com is granted to each Smart-Clip user throughout one year from the moment he updates his smart-clip first time.

until first update..that mean your acces allready expired

...the problem with test point picture it's real cos no acces...how to use box to unlock, not flash?..i will suggest to move that pictures temporary to one folder with acces for everyone for download it. Your politics to limit acces without warning customers it's not fair play.
Please do something until we have time to buy acces to suport area.

If thats what is really going on with smartmoto section on bootloader than its true .. 90% of the smart clip users to date have expired support already !!! and that too in an instant !!

been trying to log onto bootloader.com to check whats my support status but i can't even get that far !!!
Clip login keeps giving me HTTP error 401 : please update the client !! freaking hell man !!!
