Critical Error DE AD on V3r 0A52?? - GSM-Forum

i made tp and wrote boot A030 to this phone,all was ok phone working.after that i tried to prepare the phone,but smartmoto said 'smartcard error',operation stopped and phone is dead now.only showing critical error on the screen,i have tried this operation on some other v3r handsets and all was ok.i made repaidr pds,restore security area,make full flash but nothing changed.how to solve this problem?

after all tries,we saw that smartmoto cant repair this phone which is damaged during prepare operation,and i must inform all users about working these phones with bootloader 0A52 with smartmoto is very dangerous!!and support cant say anything more than 'replace flash chip'...

How do you want to repair the handset, which has a flash chip out of service, other than replacing it?

And it has nothing to do with boot version, PREPARE cycle or SmartMoto in general.

I don't see any bound between your link and resolving a "Critical error DE AD" issue...

phone was in fully working condition after downgrading,became dead when trying to prepare with smartmoto.i do not want to repair this phone with sw,you misunderstood,im just informing people about communication between smartmoto and scard is not stable and may be cut during any operation,this is killing phones..

the other reason why your v3r got critical error is because of the wrong testpoint...just unlock it again, connect testpoint, unlock via smart moto..then it will be ok..i did it and it works.

Critical error can have a different code.

Critical error "DE AD" requires a flash chip replacement...

so why working phone after "search phone" in smart-moto become DE AD critical error ??
can somebody explain this ? SC Team ? and if this is flash ic damage why smart-moto continues operation like pds repair or full flash write with overide boot area ??
