can anyone tell me how to flash it ? my 398 power on but just the motorola word ! i try pcflash, but smart moto cannot search it, i use TP, can search, then i flash the reflash file, but it fail, i try repair, restore(backup from other phone), restore security, but still same like b4, how ???

Did you try to flash with Smart-Clip or in PC-flash mode only?

i try pc flsh, it cant search my phone, if i use TP, it can search "neuto......."y
even i try smart clip flash/back up , it still need TP, if normal boot(lcd show>boot loader7e0...sw version372...), it cant search my phone .....3 phone also like tht( 2x 398 hang on motorola logo, 1x V3 also same

Testpoint will work with Smart-Clip only. Not in PC flash mode..

hi all,

im trying to flash e398 using pc flash but i need cable drivers where can i download them from.

tried to download smartclip flash files from boot loader site but cant uder construction.

phone keeps on rebboting.

any help guys

Hi, jab
Connect your phone to the PC USB port directly (phone > USB cable > PC). Choose appropriate option (PC USB) in SmartMoto tool, phone connection window, press "Search" (it will detect your handset), go to the bookmark "PC flash", choose your flash file and flash the phone. Flashing in PC flash mode will require a phone driver to be installed. Universal driver for all P2K models is available within SmartMoto directory ( SmartMoto install folder \drivers\p2k.sys). To install the driver: connect your handset to the PC, system will detect a new device, locate the driver and run the installation as many times as system will require it.

hello i tried to fix a motorola e398
when i tried to pc flash asks for a *.shx file wich i dont know where to get it as in boot-loader only found smart flashes.
i wish you could tell me where to download it from
