The box is smart-clip but when i talk to the "support" the tell me that i have a smart-unlocker

iam 100% sure its a smart-clip

maby its wrong serialnummber in the database ? wrong hardware @ the factory ?

u alredy got the serialnummber on MSN u tell me that i have a smart-unlocker and i can upgrade it to smart-clip 4 160 USD !!!!!!!

NOW WAY u cant be the real support

You've got a Smart Unlocker not a Smart Clip and Smart Unlocker is not compatible with SmartMoto.

The latest updating version for Smart Unlocker is 2.17 -- that is why you cannot update it to 3.18.

Yes, you have a housing of Smart-Clip. But it doesn't make any difference. The most important thing is PCB of your device. Please PM me your serial once again for double check. Also, please provide me with full details of your purchase: date, seller name, invoice number, price, etc.

Well, normally in smartclip has a label with the codebar and serial number. Normally is the label that you have on the bottom. You got another label glued on it, provably removed from a smart unlocker, and I'm sure that internally is a smart unlocker too. How much do you trust in your provider?
It looks that someone had changed the case and put the label on it.

Sleipner, where did you get this Clip? Does it still have any warranty? I believe first that you had to do was to contact your reseller or person, who sold you that strange device. In this way you would avoid such kind of problems .
