This version can not be used in this particular case. The phone's version is 91I, and it has to be flashed with the same one.
Also, the file that you specified is a lang_pack! In order to unbrand the phone, the full_flash has to be used.

I know that and if the case was about different phone model - then you would be right.

The thing is that this particular version is kind of "sticky". The phone can be flashed with the same one only. Unless, it's not the phone's original fw and before it had a different (lower) version then the version that you have specified can be used.

Unfortunately, unbranded fw of this version is not currently available. We will try to get one as soon as possible.
Please watch our announcements.

So its nothing silly like a V500 can be flashed with a V300 flash to debrand it?

Also, is there an easy way to tell which files are debranded?

Unbranded flash files doesn't contain SP (operator) name and/or word locked at the and of file name.
