This is dangerous, you could kill the LCD when doing this since the testpoint is being activated while the LCD is connected.

why do this way?

- it´s riskier for LCD
- extremely viewable for anyone who simply look phone without even opening it
- takes a lot more work to attach tp ( and should be new tp, all u6 I ever unlocked have its tp on another point of pcb )
- looks ugly. do you want customer to come back, or prefer him saying "that guy put a hole in my phone!"?


not personal, please don´t take me wrong, your intention was nice, but solution wasn´t.

i find it easier to just dissemble th fone, a wrong move can lead to fone die and this way we dont have a permenent mark on the fone

This simply shows it is possible, this works 100%, , however if you have not good experience i advice NOT to use this method.
