Dear users,

Considering multiple comments, complaints and advises, we would like to announce the following:

SmartMoto will support *.smf and *.smb files along with the new formats of flash files (*.mfw, *.mbk, *.pcf, *.sbf and *.shx ). New version of software will be released within few days.

Warning
Old file formats will be supported for a limited period of time only. The deadline is yet to be determined.
So, we are asking every Smart-Clip user that has a collection of *.smb or *.smf backup files, do not hesitate to contact us. An FTP server will be made available for the flashes to be uploaded. We will convert all files to the new format and return to the user. Also, they will be uploaded to www.boot-loader.com.

Every backup file that was made, using TestPoint connection method, has to be completed with the following information about the handset, that backup was made from*:
- Model
- IMEI
- User code
- Security code
- Operation band
- Firmware
- Flex version
- Language pack

*To get full handset information, please connect powered ON phone to SmartMoto via Smart-Clip, open an INFORMATION tab and press SEARCH.

How long it will be limited? 1year? if yes good move, if it will be shortly i think it bad move....

Or add some function to convert. Then all users can convert himself, and that will be the best way.

we need just conveter in new update ( lick ust tool )
so all of us can make convert of own flashes and then no need at long

if it easy please make it

What about flashing Via Test-Point will it be also avalible (it's sometimes the best way to flash the phone with not-signed flash)

GRH, you call this support ? WE must send YOU files ?? look at mss4 support. If they can do such big and superb database with flashes (unbeatable for now) why you cannot ?!
And yes, we will upload flashes, files, etc, end then ?
download with speed 10 K (as always with your s-hi-tty server) with limits of files ?.

In my opinion this is payed DOWNGRADE software

P.S.
I must buy Ultima.

I am very disapointed with SC team,

after all the complains the "great deal" we get is a limited support for old formats and a ftp where you get our files for uploading to bootloader.com?

SmartClip, are you listen your customers or just don´t wanna listen?

personaly I am mostly selling my smartclip & moving to other tool

The problem is not converting the flashes,The problem is that almost every smart-clip user have more than 1GB Flashes minimum,and downloading again all files is a very big problem as it consumes all the user download limit,So the old format should be supported not just converted or a converter should be provided to users so they can convert their flashes to new format.

Why don't leave the old files format with the new updates,, and make the new flashes in the new format ...

anyway the old files format everybody can use with smartclip 2.26 and smartmoto 1.23 ...

Then if you're so smart like we think you leave the old files format compatible with the new smartmoto updates and begin to make new files format with the new flashes that you will to Add ...

think about that ..

To SMART-CLIP team,

NOT ALL of us have time to download flash files everyday... Don't waste our time to do it again. As if you know how much sacrificed time we spent just to download files and not to mention sleepless nights just for that. Our time is MONEY! We cannot afford to lose time again. I think we have the right to have a good and stable support for the product that we invested in.

You should know the customer needs update... not problems.

The file converter i think will be the solution to this nerve wrecking news...
