Problem with Smart-clip! Need help!! - GSM-Forum

I tried to unlock A835 and A925. Smart- Clip doesn't unlock them. Green light switches off and Red switches on.. Help!!!

PS: I could unlock A925 now. But, A835 is still out of reach. SW: TALINT_U_72.32.0DI

How can I unlock this phone?

Are both bateries fully charged?

Yes. I even tried with an adapter (9V). Even smartmoto can't detect the phone.

Clean conntacts at phone mate.. and check the battery.

I checked it. The A835 is a brand new one. I charged the battery full. I can see that the cable is getting a contact with both Smart-clip and phone. When I connect the battery or Adapter (or disconnect), the phone's screen turns on.

WIch version is your clip now? try to make last update www.smart-clip.com

Take a look at this update:

"08.01.05

This is basically a bugfix release for Motorola A-series "

I have the latest version. Even Smartmoto tool can't detect the phone.

are you sure there is no security code or unlock code on the fones as i had a moto c975 which unlocked after i removed both codes.

There are no codes. Phones are brand new and I even did factory settings.

I just unlocked an A920. So, I don't think that there is some problem with cable. Anyway, could you please explain the way to unlock A835? Is it the same way like A920/925 (without SIM) or with SIM? (I tried both ways)

As I could unlock A920, I thought that cable is fine. I used a new original Motorola cable and I could unlock the phones. Thanks for the info.

Please make activity log with SmartMoto for this phone and history file for smart-clip and send to support[@]smart-clip.com

As I mentioned on the previous message, I could unlock the phone as I changed the cable. I didn't know that the cable which I got along with smart-clip will be damaged so soon (2-weeks and used on 7 phones).
