Problem with V3r unlock using prepare method
 

Tried to unlock a v3r rg4515..43r and this is the log, now stuck in boot loader mode with message "phone code sig error". Tried to prepare it again but still comes up with same message. Is there anyway to restore this phone without losing the data ?? Also noticed IMEI OTP locked, don't seem to remember seeing this before.

friend v3r is simple phone for unlock twice i unlock it yesterday 1 also just get right test point cut it and inlock via test point it will be ok

did u try again whole process with fully charged battery and wen message appears for rewrite bk look smart moto select same phone back up via imei click ok may be its help u to revive ur phone back up in orignal state m done so many phone with same process

tried to repair pds and get the following message, it also says critical error on the lcd

To be able to perform Repair PDS procedure Prepare cycle should be used.

I used prepare cycle to try to unlock, after prepare it said now flash phone, but this is the message I get when i try to flash phone

If SW says Flash phone then you should Flash phone, if it make Error then use TP.

Tried that too, just keeps failing when booting then saying io timeout

Run Prepare cycle ("Unlock automatically" should be marked off), after that perform Repair PDS procedure and Full Flash the handset with the same firmware version like the handset originally had or higher one.

Having almost all handsets I try to unlock using prepare method now don't work and I'm using latest updates and same method I have successfully used for the past year. Here's a log from a Z3

Tried and re tried to unlock using prepare no joy.

There must be something making almost all my prepare phones do this. Any ideas I can try ??

I tried to prepare with "unlock auto after" not ticked and it went through and gave a different message of

This is different to the usual prepare fail message

Tried to go to unlock menu and it unlocked

Still no power on, so tried repair PDS, keep getting the following

Smart clip has been working OK for over a year and is powered by 12V supply

Gotta sort this out...there must be something causing this I can solve

This is interesting... I have two phones, a V3r and V3i, both unlocked using prepare cycle, and both are now stuck in "phone code sig error". I have tried all that has been suggeted here, no change. When I try to flash with Scout, the process stops at 4%. When I try to flash with RSD, it stops at 8%. Why those specific percentages, I have no clue.:)

Just to be clear, I have used this process many times before without a problem, and I am not quite a newbie:D

They are driving me nuts, and I would be grateful for other ideas.
