My clip always have red light only connect with yours online tool to upgrade.

The most common problem, that the Smart-Clip can go out of service during update process, because it has to go through a few stages of hardware tests. If it fails to pass any of them - it stops working. It happens to the warranty devices or to the ones that are out of warranty. The only difference that Clips with warranty can be exchanged.

And of course, as older hardware - the more chances for it to get broken. That is usual for any device.

You are free in your choice... Buy ultima or any other box if you wish to... We don't force you to buy a new Smart-Clip. We just offer you an option. Instead of repairing your old Clip and sending it to you without warranty and any benefit - you can have a discount on buying a new one with full warranty and file access. And we take a responsibility for it to function properly, it means: in case of failure during warranty period it will be exchanged for a brand new one (not repaired).

That's the way we work.

just put this here because this update broken my clip...... bah no problem i just bought another smartclip again... and i hope that works more 1 year or 2 who knows... if never make updates surely works forever if dont have limit to usage.

But i have only one question or two can you say what is the problem of my clip ? or what happens? why? why online tool to upgrade can read the clip?? and smartmoto cant?? what is the difference??
