smartclip update help


hi i have just got s card for smartclip but thr problem is that i can not update smartclip all i get is main srceen with
Please wait. Software loading...
Note: in order to run ActiveX client software
you must use Internet Explorer

Windows XP SP2: if you have problems running unsigned ActiveX, please open
Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level
and change "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" to "Prompt"

i have done what it says about changing Download unsigned ActiveX controls" to "Prompt" but still no luck i am running xp sp2 could someone please help this is a new computer in 1 month ago so i have never updated smartclip ever on this any help would be great

If yes, have you installed ActiveX?

yes using Internet Explorer. but were and which ActiveX to download ??> looked on web and found 559 different flies for ActiveX ????

This option you have already activated.

In upper part of Internet Explorer pop-up window appears which asks if you want to use ActiveX. Press yes. Then everything will be OK.

yes have done all that but i donnot get (In upper part of Internet Explorer pop-up window appears which asks if you want to use ActiveX. Press yes. Then everything will be OK.) this does not come up??? i am using IE 7 could that be the problem????

Please make sure that:
1. Firewall on your computer (or your LAN) is configured properly or disabled
2. You have reliable Internet connection
3. You use a stable power supply with your clip (use power adapter)
4. If you run update under WinXP, log in as Administrator or any other account with administrative rights
