U6 unlock Problem please HELP! - GSM-Forum

Hi, ive tried to unlock a U6 with smart-clip using the prepare mode, ive unlocked many motorola phones via this method. but this time round i made a mistake when it prompt me to take the battery out and connect the phone etc. instead i powered the phone and connected the cable with the battery already in. i waited for it to unlock and it came up with an error after it got to 98%.

The phone always comes up on boot mode and wont start up to the main screen. can anyone tell me what i need to do next to make it work? ive checked now and it wont even power up to moot mode.

any help would be great to get this working again.

Please flash your phone with the same or higher version of *.pcf file, using SCout flasher.

hi, thanks for the quick reply, can you please tell me how this is done as ive never flashed a motorola? and also where to get the flash files from?

just was able to power the screen for a few secs - it reads something like this:

R478_G_08_84.2 DRA
MEM_MAP Blank
Service Required

what would i need to do to get it to work, and how? i have smart clip and the s-card. but not a scout card.

In order to know how to flash with SCout, please refer to the manual.
Flash files are available at www.boot-loader.com
