v3i in boot mode after unlocking. . . - GSM-Forum

i have v3i to unlock which i try to unlock by smart-clip after unlock it say write flash to phone but when i try to flash clip comunication get fail. .. now the phone is in boot mode

@ harish35200,

The phone should be flashed after Unlock procedure when it was connected in boot mode.
If message Clip Communication Failed appears, please make sure that the battery of the phone fully charged and you use power adapter 9V 500mA with Smart-Clip.

you should reflash or full flash the phone with original or higher firmware version.

Perform PREPARE cycle according to the manual and, if the option "Unlock automatically" was marked – the handset becomes unlocked. If the option was not selected then the handset can be served for Flash, Repair PDS, Unlock or Backup purposes.

thanks a lot my brother for the v3i flash file i was have the sim problem and now it's slove it that because you give us the right flash file thx again you are a great man

it seems every time you do the prepare to unlock... it unlocks the phone.. but requires to flash, no matter what you do.

I am sure, that if you would read the Manual before unlocking (have been thinking before doing), it wouldn't ask you to flash after unlocking...
