v3re BOOTLOADER NOT SUPPORTED TO UNLOCK - Page 2 - GSM-Forum

Respected moderator,

I have searched in the forum that there are a number of users having dead v3re during unlocking and all are having the same error as follows

SmartMoto 3.15
S-Card: xxxxxxxx Smart-Clip dongle, v 2.10, assigned Smart-Clip: xxxxxxxxx Europe, initializing... OK
Clip serial: xxxxxxxxx, version: 4.08, initializing... OK
Searching for phone... found S Blank Neptune LTE2, getting test interface... interface not found
Switching to flash mode... OK
Reading phone boot version... 4.00
Boot version 0x400 is not supported for model 'V3re'

AND I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM

I am verymuch sure that there is no hardware malfunction.

You are requested to take this matter seriously to enable the failth of users in SmartClip.

This part of the log file shows that the phone definitely has some hardware malfunction. Please check the PCB of the handset, ensure that it don't have any any short circuits and the TP is not shorted. After that run unlock procedure once again.

sir, Checked and found that there is no shortage or leakage in the pcb. The logs prior to unlock procedure are as under

version: 4.08, initializing... OK
Searching for phone... found Motorola Phone (V3re), getting test interface... OK
Model V3re
Firmware R3442A_G_0E.43.0AR
Reading info OK

@ mahesh gandhi,

Boot version 4.00 shows that the PCB of the phone has some hardware malfunction. One of possible reasons for such problem could be damaged Flash IC of the set.
