I have v3x with use lock.I have tried to unlock it with smartclip v/a test point but still not unlocked but at smartclip it shows all went ok and unlocked.But when i power it on with simcard it display a message Enter ulock code.Help.......???????

try again procedure, or try with preparing phone

@ manyosa,

Try to read phone info. User code should be read by SmartMoto.
In other case you can try to perform the following:

1. power on the phone with any SIM
2. when it asks for user code, press MENU button
3. then it will ask for security password, enter 000000 and press OK (000000 - default security password. It might not be accepted, in case it was modified by user)
4. now you should be able to perform a Master reset & Master clear from the menu.

If that will not help, than You should Full flash the handset using TP method.

3. then it will ask for security password, enter 000000 and press OK (000000 - default security password. It might not be accepted, in case it was modified by user)
4. now you should be able to perform a Master reset & Master clear from the menu.
I have tried this also but with simcard when i press menu button nothing happen but i just hear keypad sound only.
I just need the help to read the info with smart clip

To be able to read phone info the handset has to be powered on(not in boot mode).

I have tried to read code but a get this error
Searching for phone....found motorola phone(RAZRv3x),getting test interface....clip communication failed.
Help on this.....

@ manyosa,

Clip Communication failed issue can be found here.
Also please make sure that:
1. Firewall on your computer (or your LAN) is configured properly or disabled
2. LPT port settings are set to EPP in BIOS
3. Your LPT cable works properly
4. If you are using WinXP, log in as Administrator or any other account with administrative rights

To run a new SmartMoto under WinXP also to update a Smart-Clip please
launch the SmartMoto, open Smart-Clip bookmark & tick the option "Disable OS parallel port polling (requires reboot)".
After that restart you PC.
Also set LPT options in SmartMoto to compatibility.

I have follow all instructions now i get this error
....getting phone interface.....AT command error
...This error is possible durring phone turning on,you may try search once again.
Im using smartmoto v.2.29 and box firmware is v3.21
Help me on this.

@ manyosa,

First of all update Smart-clip/S-card and SmartMoto to the latest versions and try to read phone info once again.
If the won't help, connect the phone via TP and Full Flash it.

I have already update smart clip and s card and now im using smartmoto version 2.35 but still i cant read code
I shall try to fullflash and post the results.
