W370 TracFone Unlock Success - GSM-Forum

Just to confirm that with SCard and SCout, the unlock of W370 can be performed safely.
We can unlock the W370, by preparing the phone as if it was a W375

1. Download the firmware of your choice at bootloader.
You will be selecting only firmware from the W375 directory.

2. Normally, downloading only 1 file is all that you need, as it will already
include your main, flex and LP , all in one, (should be 8 to to 10 MB) in size

3. Connect phone, select model W375 within Compal, and flash selected
phone.

4. After a successful flash, It is expected and normal for the phone to
continually reboot and display PHONE HACKED

5. We now will fix our PHONE HACKED message using SmartMoto,selecting
model W375, and the option Repair EEPROM

6. After resolving our PHONE HACKED condition, just proceed to unlock ,
selecting model W375.

Make the same operation described above for any W370 that is branded Net 10.
Tested this morning.

yes it worked. All w370 and w377 worked.

There is however a new tracfone called the W376g that however as i understand CANNOT BE UNLOCKED as yet.

which file do we download? the SW or FLEX or HG?

You must download all file from Infinity support. Main, Flex and Language. After flashing u must repair eeprom for it to work. Regards.

Just download one file from bootloader as it will contain all that you need inside that one file..(LP Flex and Main)

SW files contain flex, main and LP in itself.
