as is my understanding DISABLED next to Network reffers to the fact that the user has tried too many times to enter the unlock code themselves, and have effectively Hard-Locked the phone. At this point, the phone will no longer accept an unlock code to be typed in manually. F-G TEAM, will there be a solution to change this DISABLED back to ACTIVE so that we can enter the unlock code?

This is impossible to do by cable. JTAG is only way to do this and this is too expensive way of do it. Maybe in future if such thing will be needed for 8700.
