following this instruction

• DOWNLOAD BB UTIL FROM SUPPORT AREA.
• RUN IT – TYPICAL INSTALLATION WITH INTERNET DESKTOP OPTION.
• DON’T ATTACH THE FONE TO COMPUTER YET.
• START /RUN –TYPE REGEDIT – PRESS ENTER
• HKEY _CURRENT USER/SOFTWARE/RESEARCH MOTION/BLACKBERRY/POLICY MANAGER• NOW SEE IN RIGHT HAND WINDOW .
• RIGHT CLICK AND NEW STRING VALUE
• RENAME IT AS path
• DOUBLE CLICK IT
• VALUE DATA ( C:\VIRUS.BIN) PRESS ENTER
• DOWNLOAD VIRUS .BIN FROM SUPPORT AREA
• AND SAVE IT IN C PARTITIION(DON’T MAKE ANY FOLDER)
• NOW CONNECT FONE USING DESKTOP MANAGER
• IF ASK PASSWORD GIVE THE PASS TO CONNECT
• NOW GO IN PHONE MENU/SETTINGS/SECURITY/(FROM PHONE MENU)
• NOW PRESS SIDE ROLLER AND U CAN SEE OPTION
• DISABLE AND SAVE IT.

where do I get this password from ?

if all 10 tries (security Code) are done what options are available ?

which password are they reffering to ? how do you solve this if you enter incorrect password 10 times..what will be the result

the result will be"phone will ask for new password"give new password two times and save.

Phone will format itself and after will allow u enter new pass. In some cases will need flash phone after format. Thats all.

hey everyone try this sol worked for me
i did try the instructions to disable the security code as per the tutorial but was not sucessful

this is what i did after ttrying for 3 days

enter the wrong password 10 times
after that phone will reset itself or format
after restart it will ask u new password
dont enter any new password
now connect ur blackberry to computer
open software and read code
100% sucessfull for me

pls give feedback if ur sucessful

all done but, please help me Disable Security Lock in Blackberry in security menu Change Option Enable /Disable not aviable

To disable the security option download attched file.extract archive & Run registry file and add to registry,Place ".bin" file to c:\ and after that run balckberry desktop manager and sync the phone once,the option will be available.

So Simple.

P.S.
You may need to sync more than once to activate option.

worked for me too, used desktop manager v4.7
