Problem in unlocking LG U890 - GSM-Forum

Hi

I tried to unlock LG U890 of 3 network of ireland. I have taken "U890_64K_SIM_EASY_TEMPUNLOCK" flash file and flashed it thereafter i flash NVM write then i change the country thereafter phone is now accepting any SIM Card.

So please assist me what should i do and whats the process for working properly.

Please suggest me step by step.

Same with others, I had that problem too. So I ended up using the other temp unlock file but it only works with 128k sim. The customer didn't mind..

I have really big problem....
I have already flashed these files into LG U890...by LGMDP_H3G_SC.exe software:

- U890-CODE--V10a-Mar-24-2006-H3G-LATIN.BIN
- U890-MEDIA-V10a-MAR-24-2006-H3G-UK.bin
- U890-MODULE-V10a-MAR-24-2006-H3G-LATIN-SEC.bin

I tried more combination of CODE, MEDIA and MODULE files but only one resulut was yelow/black sign after flashing - "UNAVAILABLE MEDIA FILE" and same if I leave there sim or not, if I leave there battery or not and same if I use "Keep All Content" or "Reset Database & Content" in LGMDP download program still stay with "UNAVAILABLE MEDIA FILE"...

I tried "Erase EFS" download backup vrom nv2 file but result was that my phone hang on with "3" logo on screen and I didn't do anything. I have locked phone by "3" Ireland mobile operator...

Anybody has some idea how I can repair this problem, or when can I find correct files (If I used incorrect), or program?

Thanks man but I am not very advanced in this problematic...what does it mean country code changer? is it hardware or software? How can I do it? I need know more details or links where can I obtain software or changer or whatever for solution of my problem but have to be free for charge....

For Country change you dont need flash phone . Just connect phone , run sw and in Job choose box select "country change" option and press Do job.

Sorry I am stupid...but which software do you mean? I found before this solution but I am not sure if they mean soft for phone or some flash software or? But now is phone already flashed and I can't do nothing only see "UNAVAILABLE MEDIA FILE" or hang up on 3 logo screen...

This is so called QFG MODULE and already exists
in C:\Program Files\FuriouS-Gold but earlier one !

Latest QFG v.2742 download from setup beta folder and after unrar replace in the directory.
