*sanyo n801 sa*can't read usim card data - GSM-Forum

i have unlocked one sanyo v801 ok with my box
but always phone said ( can't read usim card data ) so ... i go to

Function then > Special Tools >then Select area> then when i presse change
it sayas again ( can't read usim card data )

so what the problem here it is in my sim or what ?

i tried to do reset spc and security but the same problem

p.s : i see here post said that the phone is able to take photos, it's unlocked

but my phone not able to take photo it is apeare the same message

any suggestion ?

M8, it seems to me that your phone is still lock. Check FTDI only and click DO JOB. Do NOT check Reset security and SPC.

If you get message about you phone number while trying to access some function, like the mail, enter the SIM phone number in the SIM using other phone. I used my k600i to enter my number into the sim.

about unlocing see the picture program sayed phone unlocked
i did what you said and your usefull pdf but sorry i missunderstand thoses wordes cleary

so please explain to me more what you mean here coz i think this the key that i need for finish my unlocking operation

Hi M8,
I am not sure why if you still get the msg "Can't Read USIM Card Data" if it is unlocked. Maybe its a new batch? My phone was manufacture in 11/2003 and it works fine.

Next, if your phone is unlocked and you see the msg "Own Phone No. for USIM Card Not Saved" when you are trying to access the SMS (Vodafone live! > Mail). It means that you need to add a phone number in the SIM/USIM profile you are using. You need to find a phone which can add number to the SIM profile so that you can use it on your V801SA.

no this not my problem coz i want to access to (Vodafone live! > Mail). it said again "Can't Read USIM Card Data"
so i think problem in our sim in my country ...at all many thx for your help m8
