use FB Gold to unlock LG 3G and old NEC ? - GSM-Forum

Hi

Is the procedure to unlock LG-3G and old NEC 616 etc. are the same as using FB 2 ?

Do I have to reinstall the driver again to use it ?

pls advice. tks

yes, same procedure for both box

Wrong. For LG3G you have now direct unlcok so no need flash downgrade fw or patched ones as for nec u must use sharp gx 30 cable, phjone must be on.

I have today used the FBgold to unlock an LG 8120
1 open 3GLG soft
2 connect phone useing FB LG U81xx cable right hand rj45 socket and a usb port
3 use soft as in fb 2
4 done !!
this worked for me but is this the correct proceedure ?
I assume this would be faster if i'd used the left hand rj45 socket ?

If u check direct unlcok it takes 20 secs. Cant be faster then this
