Vodafone Smart II (V860) Unlock Guide - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys sorry for posting this tuturial like this and not on a video but am still loking for a simple easy and good program to do that.

I will try to be the most simple as I can.
The post is open for everyone who wants to learn or even to give any little or big tip that I might forget.

Lets start.

Requirements

A PC

You will need a FuriousGold Box with pack 6 activated.

The data cable that came with the phone, or any other mini usb data cable, I normally use my Samsung data cable.

Vodafone Smart II (860) drivers, that you can find on Fuirous Gold Suport area, as I will describe shortly where to find them.

A Vodafone Smart II (V860) network locked.

And finally Broadcom Code Reader witch can be found inside Pack 6.

So lets start.

First start oppening Maintenance Tool and click on GO TO FuriousGold Suport Area as shown on the Picture.

After click on Downloadable Files as shown also.

It will then open the Downloadable Files area and there you will have to follow the pictures bellow:

Drivers

Then in Phones choose Alcatel

Alcatel choose Vodafone_Smart2_V860 (6.41 MB)

And inside Vodafone_Smart2_V860 (6.41 MB) this files will apear

When entering this area download every file to a paste of your choice and install those drivers.
After finishing instalation, restart your PC for drivers to be completely installed.

After restarting PC open Broadcom Code Reader as shown on the picture bellow.

Completely switch off the phone, and take the battery from him.

Go to Broadcom Code Reader, choose the phone model that we are talking about and click on Read Code(s) as shown.

After clicking on Read Code(s)
Conect the usb Cable in the pc and after that conect him to the phone with it battery out.
As shown

The program will start do his job in a few seconds.
You will only have to wait until it detects the phone and does the code reading.

After it says job done you will only have to disconnect the phone plug in a sim card from another carrier and pres 00000000 as shown on the instructions givin be the Broadcom Code Reader, as you can see on the last picture.

It will be something like that

Attach the phone to the USB now ...
Phone found on COM3 and initialized;
Reading imei;
IMEI: 862924-01-796281-0

Reading data;
Log saved: 3BA638C150BC21E1E6A35BCA9E9320A4.bin

Enter an restricted sim and use as unlock code : 00000000 (8 times 0)

NOTE: For ZTE models enter *983*258# in order to be able to input code

SIM_LOCK REMOVED !
Resetting the target ...

Time needed - 00:00:11

And it unlocked.
