1. Why did you press sec ext?
2. Did you have sim inside? Cause it's the most usual issue for having phones dead

this phone dies when you are unlocking it and press any button it happened to me with 2 phones the correct procedure is, to disable the keypad lock option fro settings and to use correct network sim ( or test sim) in the phone and then unlock it.

Without sim , be sure phone is charged and that cable dont get disconnected ! Be sure no usb hub used !
