Member: 29434 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | V102 It works fine with all version, v103 included, but.... I suggest you use a USB hub with external power supply. I don’t know how much current it drain the Blazer dongle and the phone, from USB port. Or you can use a 5.0V, 1A, power supply. From my knowledge, the maximum current from an USB port is 500mA, so if exceed this value you can burn your USB port, or worst, your computer. This "500mA" is not a standard. So some motherboards can supply less then this value, and this can be a problem... |

Member: 53922 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | Here are some of my experiences: I own Blazer box + Griffin LG Clip + Furious Dongle + Griffin online server. Unlocked how many LG? I don't remember, maybe more than 100 pcs. I had a few of them couldn't be unlocked, even the SW version only v101 or v102. Tried with all the gears I have. NO LUCK! What I really feel is that not all the phone can be unlocked. Maybe some kind of faults on the phone since the phone out from factory, or some reason???.. Half hour is the Max time I spend on unlocking one phone. spend more time?..NO I want to finish other work then I have more rest...  |

I suggest to use 24LC128 form SAGEM MC922 (912) EEPROM, and LP2981 (L35A,B) from A1018,628,688,868, as ultra lowdrop power supply for EEPROM. I built one, I'm using it, and works just fine. All 81xx that came for unlocking ended unlocked. 8110, 8120 till v103, 8130, 8138. B.R.XGabe. P.S. The last pcs. of 8120 were all v103. I'm using 59b. version of blazer. Member: 29434 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @ speedy Got 3 pcs. 81x0 that can't be unlocked. I think that LG team changed the encryption algo for these phones. If u can't see the IMEI when you "connect" the phone, and get that stupid message "Communication error", I think it means that u got a phone with new encryption algo. I can't tell u if Vygis can do the unlock job. B.R. XGabe... and Happy new year ... |
