Member: 17424 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | KP235 text message problems I unlocked a Kp235 few days ago, customer came back today saying he can not read/write or even open text messages. I checked the phone and all it does it says 'please wait' and then goes back to text message menu. phone details before flashing : (after unlock) Phone type : LG-KP235 Phone version : KP235AT_V10b Flash type : Intel - 32 Mb IMEI : 352127-02-086687-2 Please plug cable to phone.Phone must be OFF.If bootloading not starts - press power ON and keep it pressed until boot loading will be finished. ------------------------------------------------ Loading boot... OK Flash ID : 8916 Flash type : Intel - 32 Mb ----------------------------------------------- Reading phone info ... OK I flashed the phone with LG-KP235_KP235AT-00-V10c-EUR-***_EN_FR_GER_IT_ES_NL_GR_SW_NO_DA_FIN_FW.crb LG-KP235_KP235AT-00-V10c-EUR-***_EN_FR_GER_IT_ES_NL_GR_SW_NO_DA_FIN_FULL_#2.crb from support but problem still remains. Any ideas would could be wrong? br msa |

Thanks Allready flashed with lowest baud rate (it defults to lowest when you start programe) and yes I did reset the phone as it instructed 2945#*#. any more ideas ? br msa | |

Member: 17424 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | Hi I solved my problem by writing LG-KP235_KP235AT-00-V10a-ORG-XX_EN_FR_IT_GER_PT_PL_RO_SLO_ES_CAT_NL_FULL_#2 LG-KP235_KP235AT-00-V10a-ORG-XX_EN_FR_IT_GER_PT_PL_RO_SLO_ES_CAT_NL_FW After flashing I reset the phone as sugested by the software using 2945#*# When tried to go into new messages the phone switched off and would not power up agian untill I took the battery out and put back again. I restarted the phone and went into factory setting via menus and reset 'ALL' . After that phone worked fine. It looks like 2945#*# factory reset does not clear all the memory hence problem with messages etc. I hope it helps. br msa |
