Since I upgraded my dongle, Was thinking about selling the old LPT to someone... but since I only have one cable (UNIbox) was wondering if Vygis works with any other cable? Will it work with the Crusier 4-1 cable for older LG or are there any other COm cable that will work. I see that there are pinout in the support section. Can I make custom com cable that way or are the pinout for uniboxes? thanks Would perfer com serial cable...

- The Vygissoftwares work verry well with Universal Boxes (both serial and USB ones) and also with the datacables.

- Using 4 in 1 Cruiser cableset on LG2G phone

... forget it..

- Using Com (serial) cables may be ok for unlocking, imei change ..., but for Flashing it would be 4 - 8 times slower then using USB Universal box and cables.

If you will want to sell the old dongle, make sure for the new buyer that he understands that it is a replaced dongle, what means:
- no new support account will be activated for the old sentinel dongle
- no support from us.
- once the dongle replaced with smartcard, he cannot exchange it anymore
(1 sentinel dongle can be exchanged with 1 smartcard dongle ONLY 1 TIME).

The intention of the replacement offer was to keep our customer up to date with the latest updates, and was not to see the customer at the end selling the old sentinel dongles to other peoples.

I don't have a problem if people sell the old, replaced sentinel dongles, so far the new user understands that he has no support from us.

i have a Sentinel LPT dongle which i didn't update it for the USB dongle at the promotion period! now i realised its very late & what i missed! im wondering is there's any chance of getting this dongle updated or getting support for it as i hve acer & toshiba software activated on them?

Unfortunately the replacement period is over since ages.
It was more then enaugh time for everygody to replace the old dongles, but now we cannot help anymore for anybody.
You will have to buy a new box, if you want to use latest softwares.
