can't flash nokia 3100 after update n-box to v2.6 - GSM-Forum

before the update it was ok but now when i clik flash a pop up apear like the posted picture, and when i clik ok, this is the result

if you just try to update sw version or change ppm then there is a problem with nbox sw

if phone is dead then it's a flash chip problem as you don't have corect flash ID
please tell more: phone is OK or phone is dead?

try to turn on the power until it flash.
after fash mcu ok and extract content file ok,
before flash ppm it get error again because can get power from phone.
you must reflash and tick ppm only,and try turn om power until flashing.

you must press the power switch again and again,until it flashing.
when flashing put the charger to increase the phone power.
not to power on the phone , i hope you understan.

i think you have bad flash chip as it doesn't show corect flash ID.
it's true that sometimes you have to power on manually nokia 3100/6100
look at the power led form your box. pres power on when you see it light. it blinks three times. try to sincronize with it.

but i think you have bad flash chip. resolder it.
