I9300 Emergency Calls After IMEI Repair

I9300, came in to our store as rooted, with S5 software installed. Many features didn't work such as camera, Playstore, so we flashed the phone with stock 4.3 ROM. Phone then had lost its IMEI and serial number. We tried to repair through NSPro after rooting, but even though it showed as successful, the IMEI was still showing as 0049XX. We downgraded to 4.2.1, and successfully changed IMEI and Serial Number but now could only get emergency calls only. We flashed back to 4.3, still only able to get emergency calls only. Phone isn't IMEI blocked, phone has signal so isn't antenna but it won't connect to any network. Any suggestions please?

Many thanks

If got signal, check is reading the sim card and test with other one.

If not work, dial *#2263#, select gsm band preference, then GSM ALL to force 2G signal.

if not work IMEI is black listed.

Hi,

Ive had this issue a lot of times with the i9300's all you need to do is use the 4.1.2 firmware from support and flash to phone, then just do imei repair and will be fine.

also to be sure imei is not blacklisted just purchase a checkmend report.

Save your money on checkmend and just change the imei for a known working one, if it works and dials out the the imei is blocked !
If so change it back to original and give customer phone bach.
