Problem unlocking X550 - GSM-Forum

I am trying to unlock this samsung x550 without luck. With direct unlock i get this:

Entering TAT Mode...
Unlocking phone...
Operation failed!

with get info i only get imei and sw version (AXGE2_GE3). The phone goes into TAT mode.

i am using X540 cable. I have unlocked many x550 before with this cable so cable is not the problem.

any help would be appreciated

Keep the power on key presed till the phoneenter in tat mode.

I am trying pressing on button but it keeps on saying operation failed and it also do not show the codes. I am trying for 20 minutes now. I think this is a new SW version because it is brand new....

hm... may be a new sw version with different security...
What sw version is on that phone?
type *#1234# or *#9999# to see the sw version from that phone.

Samsung changed the secutity on new versions.
New security will be supported on next nspro version.
