i also try this usb over network software after that infinty works fine on client computer but when i try to make it work on server it won't work i try 2~3hrs but it won't work furious dongle works fine but on on computer at a time means if i'm using on client computer i can't open software on server i've to disable sharing then i can use it on server and as far as concern about infinity it works for me by sharing without any problem on client computer but it won't work on server.

thanks for the nice information.

That's will change for sure in the future

Try to dont mess with usb sharing and dongles.

Protection will be change i think for all boxes
All teams will add that protection for preventing users
to share dongles

UNINSTALL usb-sharing soft to avoid forever-blocked dongle

and contact [email protected] regarding dongle problems

do you really know how usb over network is working ??? what the method they are using to share the usb over network.

here i'll give u one example,

1) when u connect on usb flash disk and u click on it and then select option sharing and security then u are able to access it on client computer by typing the servre name and then u will see that flash disk displays ther.

2) on other hand with USB over Network when u plug in ur usb flash disk and share it via server and client software of this software , it shows like this device is physically connected on that network and it will install drivers and everything on other computer as well.

3) in normal windows sharing when u share ur flash disk no drivers will install only it will show u that flash disk in network connection windows.

i don't think that it can damage ur dongle i really need a reply from the team who make this thread sticky. that wether it can damage the firmware of dongle or not because as far as i studies about this network there is no harm to share the dongle over network using this software.

Take Care

First
I think there is a reason why this Thread is 'Sticky'

Second. You can use Usb sharing in a client pc but i think that will change for sure in future

Infinity in the first that see Usb sharing installed in Pc,It blocks to prevent sharing .

ps.
We all know what is usb sharing and we all had problem with infinity.
I personally have Usbsharing installed in one pc that dont use any smart card protected program.

ps.

This thread is made for peoples not having problem in future ,
If you think you're smart enough to prevent that by your self

YOU'RE WRONG !
It's only in Infinity Team Hand for now
