It's not possible to damage phone during PinFinder usage.
If your phone was able to Power-On from PinFinder during pinout detection process but can't power-on from battery you must charge battery.

If phone was unable to power-on during pinout detection this means that you have connected "+" and "-" wires to phone incorrectly.

You must connect PinFinder power wires according to manual.
You must connect + to + and - to -.
If you connect power cable incorrectly (+ to -) you can damage your phone by wrong voltage.
So you must be very careful.

See PinFinder manual page 12 for more information.

Hello,

I don't think that your phone can be dead due to PinFinder due to PinFinder output voltage can not be more that 5v in any case (PinFinder take power from PC USB port).
Please, somebody post here more reports with CDMA sets (in fact I never heard before about any damaged CDMA or GSM phones after PinFinder usage).
