can make full flash to lg ke970 with infinity box ????

i make flash with all versions from support (firmware , file system and epp) and phone is dead !!!

forward time my phone show logo with ke970 and restart ... .. it was demaged with usb cable when transfer photo , melody ....




any idea

Please, explain more detailed what was initial phone state, what was original firmware version, what you have tried to do and what files you have used.

hang on start up is been common problem with this ke970..in this state handset shows only logo appear for 7 secs disappear and then appear...this is surely software problem. i have been looking for soultion since long back and found no tool is successfuly able to repair this problem.

i flashed this handset with KE970P40-AFR-V10i-***-XX_JUL-30-2007_file_system[1].B1S but handset got dead..i rollback this handset by flasing it again with gsmulti but not repaired ok. tried all the option in infinity....hope soon there will be solution for this

Just for info: firmware + FileSystem + repair_eeprom = virgin phone.
My advice: try to double check phone hardware, reball flash IC and CPU, let's see results.

I am having the same problem with the KE970. After I dropped it I got the logo display and freeze problem which seems to be so common. However, if you put in an inactive SIM card the phone will startup normally but you can only dial emergency numbers and even if you scan for networks it will detect the local networks (Tmobile, Cingular). If you try to power it on with an active SIM it just freezes on the logo screen. With the inactive SIM in I went to the admin menu (2945#*#) to try and reset it to factory settings but it freezes with the "Resetting..." message this time...horrible horrible!!

Infinity is perhaps right and it might be a hardware problem as I initially assumed since it started with the drop. The freeze obviously occurs when the SIM tries to register on the network..otherwise why would it power on with an inactive SIM??

Infinity, if you do not mind briefly explaining how to "reball flash IC and CPU" I would like to give it a shot. Any help and troubleshooting tips on this problem are greatly appreciated.

Hello,

"reball" means:
1. desolder chip
2. solder it back

"reball" name is a result of soldering method of BGA chip. Probably right name is "resolder".
