Help needed for auto pin finder

Dear All,
I just purchase the pin finder and activated. I follow the instruction first select com and detect adaptor and after that select cable type and plug in com cable and the power cable and press power on button on the software but the problem is the red light didn't appear state too many try.
I unplug the power cable and press power off and power on again the red light appears and measure got 4v but if plug in cable red light diappear and no voltage.
I smell from the infinity box it got smell like burning smell but i try to program using cable connect to PCB for N6500 it still can do formatting. Not sure is it the cause of it infinity box or the infinity pin finder adaptor?

Please advice me please.

Thank you very much.

Best Regards
Ian

I am using L12B and line number 26 is not connected and only line number 9 is connected. So, I don't think is cable.

I open the infinity box found out there is one VDD2(M7) is burn/crack, does it the cause of it? I check it in my country they don't have it, so I can't replace. Does it same with any other ?
I do short it but still the same.

Please advice me.

Dear Sir,
It is the main board for infinity box. Hope can repair it to have spare one. Today, I just purchase new inifinity box and with cable short, everything dtected fine.

One question is should I need to short the board always or only when I use pin finder adaptor?

Thank you very much
