Member: 438379 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | quick question: pin 2 of infinity-box is Tx (phone Rx) pin 3 of infinity-box is Rx (phone Tx) so i was a little confused...when making cable we need to connect pin 2 of infinity-box (Tx) to Rx pin on phone connector? and pin 3 of infinity-box (Rx) to Tx pin on phone connector? when using pinout diagram of any phone connector. im asking because on diagrams posted in this thread, Tx goes to Tx and Rx goes to Rx. |

Member: 148515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 19,534 | hello! the right way to mark pins is: tx goes to rx, rx to tx. but in our database some pinouts are recieved from our usres, who think and mark another way: tx to tx, rx to rx. so always if cable is not working- swap tx and rx with places to avoid this mistake of dubble way marking |

Member: 438379 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | thanks for answer. another reason i asked because pinout for LG C2500 connector is different from Vygis box info and i know that rj45 for both infinity and vygis are the same: so just to confirm, the comments below in green are incorrect ? keyboard up /12345\ _______ 1- GND 3- TX (data from phone) 4- RX (data to phone) |

Member: 130995 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 35,228 | This means: take 10 kOm resistor, connect one resistor side to phone pin and connect other resistor side to box +5v (RJ-45 pin-1) I hope it's enough detailed description. If it's not enough I think it will be very hard for you to build cable and unlock phone and you must ask help from any technical person near you (who can get required resistors and who can solder wires). |
