hello!

if you can not connect with this phone- then obviously you have not used correct pinout.
Best way to check if you are using correct pins is to attach battery and power On phone. Measure voltage on those pins and make sure that there is present voltage between 3,7-3,9 volts.

measurements must be done only on powered On phone.
other measurements are not useful.
As we can see, one of points is second row, pin number 3.
