Member: 2495115 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 34 | Smart card problem I have been useing Infinity for several years. Recently my laptop went wrong and sent power surges through the usb ports. I have now aquired a new pc but cannot open any of my infinity programs. I am sure that my faulty laptop has fried my card. I have removed the card and can use the dongle to read my Chimera card. I have tried the infinity card in the dongle it came in, and also in other boxes I have, but the software will not open. In dongle manager I get: Server connection successfully established Checking DongleManager version... Your DongleManager is up-to-date Checking Dongle Identification... Authenticating on server... Authentication successfull Service stage 1 confirmed Securing session... Error securing session: Server answer:[0036] Smart-Card Keys fault (Smart-Card can not be updated). In most cases it's a Hardware fault or harmful software activity ! One of possible damage reason: Warning ! Your smart-card can be attacked by harmful software ! - GSM-Forum - If you have Activations at your damaged Smart-Card and if you have another Box/Dongle we can try to move Activation to your another Smart-Card. Contact to http://www.infinity-box.com/support/?r=2 for details. Your account will be suspended to avoid permanent Smart-Card damage. Can you recomend a course of action for me please. Member: 1043909 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 60,926 | It may be a problem with card-reader. As I can see you have used "Alcord" card-reader earlier. Use that reader and update card once again now. result ? |
