Sorry I faced this issue but it must your smart card reader or simcard has move, move simcard and align to reader all ok, but break your seal meaning void your warrant.

Is it brand new dongle or is it old box/dongle ?
Do you know it's S/N ?

Iam also same issue sometimes this error came, its old infinity box.Iam using windows 10 64bit.

A4F0C533 is from year 2010 so it may be some kind of hw fault.

Try to connect Dongle to another PC
Try to insert Smart-Card into another Card-Reader or Box

If problem still exist:
- Remove Smart-Card from Card-Reader
- Clean Smart-Card contacts
- Try to use hot air gun and heat Smart-Card
- Insert Smart-Card back to Card-reader

Is it possible to transfer my activation to Nokia best dongle?
Recently I activated it for two years.
Activation date: 14 January , 2020.

Same here experienced this after formatted my pc it was working before but this time due to malware I formated my pc and reinstall everything but when I'm going to open cm2spd smart card not found then for dongle manager I get error smart card API error. Do you have any solution?

What is the exact error message text for your "smart card API error."?
