Write Backup MT6580 (PACK FW) - Stuck on FASTBOOT. - GSM-Forum

MT6580 K80_bsp model. After write READ FW from the software.. Now phone stuck on FASTBOOT mode !

Please INFINITY replied back... The phone was working perfectly. I needed to root the phone so that i can put GAPPS. but was freeze on logo after install !!

BUT after trying BACKUP FLASH file now phone stuck on FASTBOOT mode..

What is the problem?

Now you need factory firmware to revive your phone.

The phone was working Properly. ONly no GOOGLE apps. SO i make a backup just to be on that SAFE side...

NOW after messing up.. i use the backup.. But block on FAST BOOT mode.

SO WHAT IS THE USE TO MAKE A FIRMWARE BACKUP????

backup rom and flash another same device work only old mtk devices
in this era every device need factory signed firmware

What you mean is even making a BACKUP of the NEW era MTK Working phone is useless. Now if ever the phone software is corrupted we cannot use the BACKUP ROM from INFINITY has SAVED..??

What is the BACKUP/ READ FW button use for then? Why there is the OPTION there?

We are in the NEW ERA... 2019.. Soon 2020 !!

my mistake not every device but mostly new devices need signed firmware

Read firmware is for mostly old Android versions, MANY NEW ANDROID VERSIONS HAVE SECURE BOOT, so if you try to write back readed firmware phone will result in brick/semi dead or stuck on logo/fastboot

From your situation your phone is detecting that your system is modified so it kicks/boots to bootloader mode aka fastboot..
ONLY SOLUTION IS SIGNED FACTORY FIRMWARE

The truth is that many backup done by CM2MT2 doesn't work well for nonsecured boot..

I have tried itel P32, itel A32F and other older models.. They don't boot after flash but when I do read back with other tool or older CM2MTK 1.58. The phone works..
