Member: 811960 Status: Offline Sonork: [email protected] Thanks Meter: 57 | Method How To Erase BB5 Phones, even there is no option or button in all boxes programs to make erase, Names erase files also for JAF BOX : BB5Erase_8MBrap BB5Erase_EE_8MBrap BB5Erase_16MBrap BB5Erase_EE_16MBrap BB5Erase_32MBrap BB5Erase_EE_32MBrap 6 files for erase BB5 phones with following orders : BB5Erase_8MBrap BB5Erase_EE_8MBrap BB5Erase_16MBrap BB5Erase_EE_16MBrap BB5Erase_32MBrap BB5Erase_EE_32MBrap Let Start The Explanation: BB5Erase_8MBrap.bin used to fully erase the first 8mb of the rap3 flash inculading eeprom . BB5Erase_EE_8MBrap.bin used to erase only eeprom located at the end of rap3 flash the same usage is for 16 and 32mb erase files MT-BOX Team said : bb5erase_8mbrap bb5erase_16mbrap bb5erase_32mbrap This 3 files erase full Rap3g BB5Erase_EE_8MBrap BB5Erase_EE_16MBrap BB5Erase_EE_32MBrap This 3 files erase only EEPROM on Rap3g. How do I know which file size area should I use with the phone? ok For example N73 : ON JAF we have those address: Erasing cmt zone 00080000 - 00731421 ... Erasing cmt zone 00000000 - 0005FFFF ... Erasing cmt zone 001E0000 - 001FFFFF ... Erasing cmt zone 00880000 - 00FEFFFF ... OK which one is high ? Highest Address of a Rap is : 00FEFFFF This is not a full size flashes can be 8,16,32,64,128.......MB 00FEFFFF is small under 00FFFFFF , Then our flash in N73 00FFFFFF HEX Address . Now we need to convert it to MB Size . Open windows Calculator go to menu view then scientific then choose HEX Write 00FFFFFF Click on a DEC and you will get a result : 16777215 it's in bytes . this divide on 1024 and you have result in KB ~16348 So now your Size are 16 MB Note : CMT is Rap3g , Same name . Also all these file must flash it in MCU Window . thanks keep it sharing sir!!!!!!! |
