You cannot crack the box because the solution is server based - no logs, no unlock, simple!

From what I have read, you pay 5,000 euros for box, cables and 250 logs. Once you have used your 250 logs, minimum purchase is 250 logs @ 5,000 euros, so each time you use your logs it will cost you a further 5,000 euros to keep going!

Here's a scenario that worries me:

- You pay 5,000 euros and get BB5 server based solution with 250 logs.
- Someone releases 100 euro 'no server logs' solution.
- You have to charge customers 25-30 euros to recoup money spent on 5,000 euro box.
- Everyone else is charging customer 10-15 euros because they were patient and waited for the 100 euro 'no server logs' solution.

In the above scenario, where are the customers going to go? Every time the customer will choose the service charging 10-15 euros - buying 5,000 euro box is a very big risk!

I agree, it's too expensive, it will not even make it's worth. A month ago it was probably worth it as there were stacks of phones to be unlocked, but now that a cheaper box is "imminent" I wouldn't risk buying it.

Is it not possible for some elite programmer to hack into this server and copy all information and then create a box using an inbuilt server/???

The server holds the solution, the cables are used to access necessary data from the phone and then create the solution.
I'm sure someone out there knows the solution and is preparing a rival box as we speak.
