Dead Nokia N95 plz help

Hi guys, I wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem that i have with my N95. I live in Calgary Canada but recently on a trip to London England i bought a Nokia N95. The day after i got back from london i installed all the software for the phone on my computer as well as tried to upgrade this firmware via nokias website and halfway through the firmware installation the PC lost connection to the phone and when i looked at the phone it was off. The program said to take out the battery and then put it back in and try again but when i turned the phone on it had a black screen (with just the backlight on). Now it stays like that. The phone is all black with just the back light on. The nokia screen does not even show up. I tried to do a reset by holding down 3 * call but it did not work. I called Nokia and they want me to send the phone back to England (which is unacceptable). Can someone please inform me on what i can do or what i will need to flash the phone myself. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your phone can be revived with 3rd-party tools such as Jaf-box, UFS+HWK or MT-box, go to any gsm service from your area, it's most likely they have one of these boxes and they will fix it for you (not free, of course)

no luck

I have been searching for the last couple of days and there is not a single company here (there are not very many) that are wiling to flash and fix my phone. Is there a large internet based company that i can get in touch with or is there a simple cost effective solution that i can do myself?

Maybe there is a solution, if your pc sees the phone in current condition.
Open device manager and connect the cable to phone (turned on). If you can see it in device manager, your phone isn't completely dead, and you can try to flash it with Phoenix. It might be difficult for you to install and use phoenix and no guarantee that you will succeed, so it's up to you...
