HELP!!! N80 Dead after flashing

Please help me! I have flashed my N80 to IE with phoenix, following all of the steps in the guid, but it failed and now the phone is useless. I have searched all over the web and the forums (including this one), but couldn't find a solution. I can't even find the DEAD FLASH button on phoenix. Could somebody please help me? I am desperate. And if you cannot tell me how to revive it, can you tell me where to take it and what to tell the salesman? Should I just say that it died suddenly or can I explain to him that I was trying to flash it? Thanks in advance, please reply ASAP!

If you tell them the truth, you will get no help from anyone unless you are prepared to pay for it. By flashing the phone yourself you voided any and all warranty on the device. Also, if you changed the product code, they will be able to read the current product code, which will not match that written on the phone, so they will know it's been tampered with. If by some miracle, they get it to start up again without reflashing it, they will also spot that it's IE firmware and not original.

Frankly, it's either a mate with a box or you are going to have to pay real money to get it repaired.

Well, I don't have a friend with a box! How much will it cost me to get it reflashed at a NP?
And since I changed the product code with an Internet Edition one, will they load the old firmware or the IE?

If Nokia fix it for you, they would almost certainly put back the correct product code and firmware. What anyone else would do is, I guess, up to whatever arrangements you made with them. You have already voided the warranty, so that is no longer an issue. The Nokia forums are banning any posts or posters that talk about changing product codes, stating that they don't allow anyone to assist in voiding warranty, so I think they would be very hard-nosed about helping you to do anyting apart from reverting the phone back to original state.

Good luck...

Z.
