How to change from 5310b to 5310 to add new languages?

Hi,

I have the Nokia 5310b (American version) and I would want to add some languages, namely portuguese (from Portugal, not Brazilian). I tried to change the product code to an european one, but NSU still recognizes the phone as RM-304 and does not find any firmware update so I can flash with an european firmware version.
Is it possible to elude NSU so it recognizes the phone as RM-303 and not RM-304? Or is it possible to add the language any other way?

Thanks

But that will need a box, right? And I don't have one...
Is it possible to do just with the USB cable?

Thanks
