Howto Flash 6630 - GSM-Forum

does any one know howto flash a 6630 using the cable and software
and if so could you provide some links and instructions to the thread or my e-mail address

i want to upgrade my firmware (and any firmware links that WORK)

is it possible with only the cable dku? thx

only for flash the firmware .. phone isn't blocked

Yes it is possible

Just follow this instruction:

1. - Prep:
----------

* You must fully uninstall both Nokia PC suite and the connectivity cable drivers and restart your PC.

2. - Diego:
-----------

* Run 55667793_Diego_3_06.msi and just follow the on-screen prompts.

3. - Phoenix 2004:
------------------

* Open crack.exe, but do not click install.

* Run the phoenix_service_sw_2004_39_7_70.exe

* When you get a message stating there is no dongle, you need to click 'retry' and apply the crack immediately. The time window in which you have to do this is very small, so the crack may give you an error about not being able to create certain files... If this happens, you will get the dongle message back, so you can just keep clicking retry and applying the crack until you have got it right.

* Restart your PC. When it reboots, you will get two errors about not being able to register files. You can just ignore these.

4. - Connectivity drivers:
--------------------------

* Run Nokia_Conn_Cable_Driver_159_ita.msi and just follow the on-screen prompts.

5 - Phoenix 2006 Update:
------------------------

* Open phoenix from the icon on your desktop and minimise it.

* Run phoenix_service_sw_2006_12_5_136.exe and just the on-screen prompts. ** DO NOT restart your pc at the end** ** Select I will restart later **

* Close the phoenix program you minimised.

* Launch it again from your desktop... check in help/about and you should have the right version

SW you will find using "search" button.
